Don Hunter has been involved in radio and television since the mid 80's, starting with radio and television broadcasting in school.
In 1986 Don was offered the opportunity to co-host a Winnipeg based television entertainment program, which was not refused. Two years later he found himself in Toronto doing voice-overs for commercials and voice mail systems (which had just become the hottest medium around). During the next few years several more commercial and industrial voice projects were completed.
In 1991 Don was invited to Hollywood by Producer/Director Alvin Fast, for acting training with a few rather influential people:
- Billy Drago (The Untouchables, Delta Force 2)
- Silvana Gillardo (Days of our Live, Babylon 5)
- Sy Richardson (Repo Man, Men at Work)
- and Dianna Ortelli (Born in East LA)
After returning, he found himself busy with many voice-over and commercial projects. In addition, Don was requested for seminars by such schools as:
- Gordon Graydon Secondary School
- Port Credit Secondary School
- and the Toronto Catholic School Board
Over the years, Don has voiced several commercials that have been heard throughout Canada and the United States.
